Tired of having a pencil neck.

just started using one. Was unsure of the point until I realized that sometimes your dressed up and the only muscles anyone will see is your neck.
also use it for weighted chin-ups

>that guy who attaches plates to his head for weighted chin ups

Just do it at home where noone can see you.
No.
Just use a light dumbell or isometric exercises. Look em up.
Both work well. Neck muscles grow fast once you start to isolate them.
This harness shit is people trying to cash in for reinventing the wheel.
Now if someone comes up with a tool to easily grow an actually challenging muscle like calves, that I'd consider buying.

Yes.
Inexpensive and effective. You don't 'need' one but it makes neck training considerably easier.
I'd advise you to find a good, broad leather harness if you can because the cheaper nylon ones can be really fucking uncomfortable.

Use resistance bands for neck work lad, much prefer it

You do know chin-ups are when you pull yourself up while hanging from a bar and not when you lift your chin "up", right?
Why not just do wrestlers bridges? They are isometric, should be safer for the disks (like a deadlift with neutral back)
w2c a decent one in europe
