I am currently running a 17 minute mile and a half, need it to be 15 by a week from saturday. Not fat or anything, just have no stamina when I run long distance. Would running the 1.5 mile daily and just trying to cut down my time each time be the most effective or should I mix up what shit I do?

Instead of running 1.5 every day at your current speed, try running 1 mile but at a faster pace. Work up from there.
Why a week from Saturday. Enlisting?

400m sprints
>1.5 miles
>long distance
lol
If you want stamina up the mileage and train at 2 miles. When you get better at it 1.5 will be easy

Yes, its the only part I havent passed yet.

How often? Same day? Alternating days?
>>41135930
didn't you already make this thread
>>41135930
400m sprints
1mile intervals (do 3, try to increase pace each time slightly)
3 mile moderate runs
repeat

train at longer distances at slower paces, never walk.
shoot for at least 2-3 miles. when you have to run 1.5 it will be easy. make sure you run the 1.5 mile run at least once before your performance review.
but honestly, you only have a week so you might just be fucked.
Does running ever get any better? I've been doing it consistently since September, and can do a half marathon distance, albeit at an 11min pace, but it's always hell
I feel exhausted from the get go and my heart rate hovers at 170 regardless of pace. I don't know why I keep running
i know you guys like to meme on that allan thrall guy but in his usmc vid he explains how he improved his 3 mile times by doing a bunch of interval sprints and shit. was actual a good vid
I'ts been said by a few anons but like they said, if you want to run 1.5 easily you need to be able to run at least double that.

Look up breathing techniques for running as well; helps you get progressively further, especially if you have no stamina - need something to compensate for that.

do sprints fatty
