Hasn't having your guts spilling through your abs affected your lifting at all?

Not really no. Only time I've ever really felt anything was during a meet, on my last deadlift attempt. And even then it wasn't anything bad.

Pretty sure I have this myself, although a milder version. Sometimes when I stretch on like a back extension I'll feel something almost snap or pull, and I'll get this burning sensation when I pee. Sound familiar?

Hernias don't always hurt. I've had one just above my groin for almost a year and it hasn't bothered me since it first appeared. I did however flip shit when it first showed up and didn't lift for like two weeks but I got lazy and said fuck it, I'd rather risk my intestines then not lift

I was on a forum and they described almost every symptom to a t. Unfortunately, when I first went to the doctor they couldn't see anything because I thought it was a regular inguinal hernia but im 99% sure it's umbilical. Like you, it doesn't really bother me.

Two questions:
How where you diagnosed?
How do your abs look assuming you're not a fatty like me?

I did surgery. It sucked.
4 weeks of recovery before I could lift again.
Was back to full strength minus gains goblins from not lifting after 6 weeks.

Had a yearly physical, my doctor felt a bump right over my belly button and another in my belly button. Asked me to bear down, felt it again. Referred me to a specialist that I haven't gone to yet.

There's a visible bump right above my belly button when standing up about the size of a quarter

Unfortunately I went to the ER but I'm gonna try to go see a doctor about it. Apparently it's very hard to diagnose when it's not so visible, and it's hard to see on a CT or MRI. Some people said they had to do exploratory surgery which I definitely want to avoid if possible.
