Especially from 16 - 17, before I grew my beard out, I looked like some marauding skinhead, so people wouldn't sit next to me on the train. The loss is from DHT buildup in the scalp, not a fucking "reaction" like lightning zapping the hair on contact. It builds up and binds to the follicle. More test means more DHT means more buildup means more fucked up hair. If you hair is already really susceptible to this binding it's true that it's not going to take a lot of DHT to affect it.
