1. Build social skills - You'll have a hard time on this regardless if this is a problem now. However, if you work on it, you can make it less of an issue. Become more interesting, and that you do by usually finding things that can be related with. Learn new hobbies, or get more involved with more topics that you can talk on. 2. Deal with stress - Don't take rejection personal. More than likely, you will just come up and talked to someone you basically don't know. So don't be surprised by the result if it doesn't go well If they're not comfortable with you, then just leave it as is, and if anything apologize for bothering them if they're really put off, then just excuse yourself and continue onto your thing and leave them to theirs. This ties back to the first point, and you'll just have to learn as you do these encounters.

For the lack of caring to engage with people, this could be that you're not thinking of the right reasons to engage with people. Perhaps you aren't looking for a sexual reason, but more of a platonic one where you can have some camaraderie or companionship with another person. More simply put, you're looking for a friend of some sort, and that's all it is and nothing more. Of course you're literally friend-zoning everyone by default at this point.

On the issue of social climate issues regarding the feminist comment, it's basically not letting those dictate how you need to present yourself, especially when those views are in the minority, and are looking for the complete opposite of what they clamor for, instead of the equalization of the issue.
