I'm no expert, but I used to do this every week and stalled for a long time. Changed my schedule to sun,tue,thur and it's made a huge difference.

as long as there is alcohol in your body your liver will not synthesize protein and amino-acids, it'll be busy getting rid of the alcohol

IIFYM. If you've somehow hit your protein macros but are still 1000+ calories short for the day, go for it.
