Hey /fit/, I tried doing 225 for 6 reps today for bench (normally I can do 6 as it is my max) but this time I only did 5 and had to rack the bar in the lowest safety hold. Today was not good for me as it ruin the rest of the workout. Did you guys experience anything like that today?
Why are you doing 6 reps anyways?
I normally end my bench set with 6 reps with 225, my goal is to get to 10 by the end of the summer

I did a few days ago, all my lifts seemed harder and i had to cut my run short.
2 days later i wake up with a cold, headache and runny nose etc
So i guess weakness in the gym is early evidence your body is busy fighting something, so don't worry about it.
In fact id say your performance in the gym is your best guide to your current health.
