Okay so I was just done my upper body, and I said fuck it might as well do some short low weight squats to keep everything fresh.

So I ended my upper body with some basic farmer walks, then I went with some lunges with a 10 kg medicine ball, and felt a bit of a burn in my legs. I then literally grabbed some 12 lb (TWELVE LBS) dumbells and as soon as lowered I felt a tightness/cramp form in my inner/rear right leg. I did one more and it felt super weird so I stopped.

I apologize for my wall of text, but like I am super nervous like I have heard about leg damage by squating and I am kinda nervous I almost fucked myself. Does anyone have any advice or thoughts?

I find it really hard to isolate my hamstrings.
Have tried romanian deadlifts and good mornings but don't feel it in my hamstrings at all?
More feels like just a stretch?

The only thing I can feel my hamstrings actually burning on is the leg curl machine.
Also the lying one down leg curl machine but that one is only at an another gym where I don't get to go often.

So help, what do I do??

I am dyel and a month into lifting after quitting a while ago. My knees and lower back feel like shit after doing squats for a few weeks. Every time I step I can feel it in my knees, and my lower back feels tingly and whenever I press on a spot (Lower back above the hip bones on the spine). Even when I bodyweight squat I feel a dull pain in my knee lots of the time and whener I bend backwards my lower back pinches.

I have a lot of trouble leaning back in squats, I can never get the balance right, and I feel very uncomfortable going below parallel. I feel like my joints are doing more of the work than my muscles. I try to put the weight on my heels as much as possible but I tend to lean forward.

I practice form and do research, but almost every variation doesn't feel right. Should I just do leg press?

Is deadlifting in squat shoes ok? I've suffered back pain for years from deadlifting and recently had a break. I tried them again today after doing front squats with my squat shoes. They felt a lot better than normal, but could that also be because of the break?

Lastly, this past saturday when I did A+B, it took like 1.5 hrs to get through all 6 Exercises (OHP, Squat, BP, DL, Bent-over Rows, Lat Pulldown), doing 5-6 sets of 5 with each one. I didn't feel like I was resting too much, but I was re-watching form videos to make sure I wasn't going to fuck up my back. This seems way too long to me, how long should it take to do all 6 of those? I was trying really hard to do my reps slowly to increase time under tension, but it still felt like I should have finished faster. What time should I aim for to do all 6?

Calories on the package are for exactly what is in the package. So if it says your chicken breast is 5oz and 250C, it's 250C raw. The weight goes down when you cook it, but I don't believe the calories really go down, so you should weight everything before you cook then enter that in your calorie tracker.

Anyone have suggestions on routines for lifting with biking? I have been thinking of going from 4 day 5/3/1 to 3 days a week by cutting out squats and biking more instead. Never liked my form on squats and I feel I'll injure myself on them again. Intermediate level lifter and commute by bike to work most days

I would, but I have dumb bells instead of the long bar one (forget the name). Also in this country, gym memberships are in the hundreds of dollars per month, which I can't afford so it's not very practical for me sadly unless I try to order one of those. Ive got a question concerning my squat and my left knee.
Im lifting for one month now and I noticed that my left quad is bigger than my right and that my right hamstring is bigger than my left (only doing squats and deadlifts for legs as of now).
I squatted yesterday and I "felt" that my left quad was more exhausted than my right (because of the weaker hamstring?).
The main problem is that my left knee kind of hurts (outside of left knee), its not that bad yet, but I dont want to make it worse obviously.
I squat highbar and I try to make sure to have a even stance, foots pointing outwards and having the bar resting evenly on my traps.

So how should I tackle the problem? Try to strenghten/even out hamstrings and stop squatting?
Ive started to do some mobility training and stretching for my hips and tight hamstring/glutes.
Did any one experience similar?

your form is off and one side of your body is getting mechanical advantage to cope, unless you have extensively video tapes yourself from multiple angles during heavy squats that wont fix it as is usually happens most under load, lower your weight some and do mroe reps, at home do 100-200 bodyweight squats a day, what your working on is tendon problems, heres info on that if you want

How much does it matter to get protein right after a workout? If I'm hitting my macros, does it matter when I get them down?

My legs are skinny as fuck despite squatting twice a week and deadlifting twice a week, is there something else I should be doing?

I run a mile or so after every workout, is this good/bad/doesn't matter either way?
