Weightlifters have long recognized that the greatest lift of all time is the snatch, which is not the most flashy or heaviest lift possible. Bodybuilders rank the highly controversial dumbbell chest press over classical bench press who remains popular in the weight room. Powerlifters are still blinded by commercial success. Bench press is the most fun lift to do over everything else (not true, by the way), therefore it must be the greatest. Weightliferes grow up practicing the snatch and clean and press of the past, bodybuilders grow up practicing dumbbell movements of the past. I wasn't joking. I'm your height and when I started out I could barely bench the bar at 130lbs. You're severly underweight and probably don't have a lot of muscle on your body. Start of as low as possible and increase by 2,5 kilos every workout.
