Ignore the memers. Cardio endurance is the most important thing. Train cardio for extended periods at moderate intensity and also do sprints as long as you can. A lot of wrestling is being able to stay at peak performance for multiple minutes while going really hard. For muscles just practice wrestling to develop. But I would get a head-start on neck exercises like neck bridges. Also dont forget to work your flexibility often.

Calisthenics. High rep normal to intermediate level calisthenics, plyometrics and hiit.
Anything else is bullshit.
Here is the weapon to surpass metal gear lol jk but these can improve your sex life
Or the extreme version

disagree
high effort strength training 2-3x a week, mainly low rep/sets with heavy weight.
The rest of your time should be calisthenics and hiit, plyo is a complete meme if you aren't a football, basketball, or soccer player. You should get a ton of conditioning from your practices though.
Conditioning comes and goes quick, strength is very important and takes longer to build.
The guys who are state-national champs aren't there just because they are the most skilled but because they are also the strongest in their weightclasses.

Your disagreement, means fucking nothing.
The bread and butter of all wrestlers is calisthenics and plyometrics.
Period.
Strength training is nice, but it's a distant fifth behind those.

Former state record holder at 126. Cardio cardio cardio. You don't need to be crazy strong, you need to have crazy endurance.
