Is that app measuring your heart rate when youre exercising?

No, I was using the treadmill, which read an average of 145 BPM.

>crunches
Dude no. Planks. PLANKS.

Crunches wreck your spine dude, planks and leg raises and ab wheels are what you should do for you core

Alright, thanks!
I've just started my gym membership, since I lost 10 lbs in the past month, reducing my calorie intake; I currently weigh 275 lbs and plan on reaching 165 lbs by next year.

You can do it breh. Im 238 from 350, just remember that weight training is just as important, if not more important than cardio. You dont want to make the same mistake that i did dropping a shitload of weight without doing weight training. You'll end up flabby as fuck and worse looking. Overall goal should be changing your body composition, not just losing weight.

Not gonna make it

3 mph.. you have a 20 minute mile?
>>41055598
I dont think its for speed more for calorie loss/light warmup, and when running 2+ miles no one really counts per mile. Rather 3mile=[insert time] 5mile=[insert time]
You may have a 6 min mile, but can you keep up the pace for more than a few miles? Mabye, probably not. Its not a good metric.

3mph is a slightly brisk walk. Consider going for a longer time. When I first started out as a heavy set dude, I was going 6-9mile walks per day averaging 3.5mph. Took me a couple hours, sometimes longer, but I did it. It's low impact and something that you can do to help clear your mind of anxieties.

This. Long walks/hikes can burn a lot of calories.

Is it bad my average Bpm is usually 168 whenever I check mine? Am I gonna drop dead on the treadmill one day?
