Anyone else depressionbrah? I've found the only thing that works for my depression,wich i have had for about 5 years, is cardio every day for at least one hour. Lifting helps a bit but nowhere near as much. Anyone know this feel? Am i doomed to have to run for an hour every morning till i'm 80? My life is pretty decent, depression just runs in my family.

Microdosing acid just gave me really bad gas. I'm convinced it's a placebo. Just go on a real trip in a safe spot .. unless you have actual mental issues then stay away.

How long do you run for? I find it takes a good 45 mins of slowish jogging to get the effect. I also found eating more healthy carbs helped me personally when it comes to running.

It's not really something you can just "try for a bit", unless you mean meditation.

Mindful Meditation gives you an idea on what you're supposed to do at all times. It's more about priming your awareness to work in a certain way.

You aren't supposed to do Mindfulness Meditation every day for 30 minutes and hope it makes your life better. It's more about remembering that it's a tool you can use at all times. Stop. Be aware. Be present. Good or bad thing.

Say something good happens, stop, notice, appreciate, remember.
Say something bad happens, focus on what is real, let thoughts come and go, don't get stuck in an emotion but also don't run away from them. Especially important if you tend to get angry when things go bad. Be honest with yourself. Are you angry? Or are you sad and you're just getting angry, because you're sad.

just do some short meditation after your workouts, keep doing it even if it feels like a waste of time. Generally I'd say that acid is an unnecessary risk, but at least get a grip on meditation before trying (like after a year)
