Hypothyroidism probably, still waiting on secondary confirmation. In addition to numb hands, painful shoulders, I also am losing the nerve that is supposed to push food down my guts from the stomach. Well my doctor said that, but he is mostly an old women specialist, so thats why I am going to get other opinions.
Not like my blood tests will come out different the second time, just to confirm things and get more doctors to confirm.

Are thyroid issues heritable /fit/? My mother has thyroid issues and I've noticed some of the symptoms like depression, fatigue and dry skin apply to me.

The blood test is cheaper, and it shows the antibodies.. The echography is for after you confirms those are out of normal ranges.
In some countries you need to do them in that order for the socialized healthcare to pay, since one costs more than the other, and of course the state prefers paying the cheaper one first, in case the more expensive one isn't needed.

I made blood test for different thyroid hormones and my anti-thyroglobulin autoantibodies are 238 (should be less then 18). What is it? What to do? All other hormones are normal.
Also I'm skinny guy 178 cm height and 60 kg, always struggling to gain weight.
