Super does get better in the Black arc but it really shines in the Universe Destruction arc. The animation gets back to its roots in Z and there's enough fighting every episode so it doesn't feel like you waited a week to watch static images talk to each other for 20 minutes. That said, it's still not the GOAT that DBZ is. DBZ is and forever will be the most /fit/ anime.

No, it drops the dragonball near the end of the arc because it tries to wrap up 40 episodes in a neat 10-minute bow. The arc up until they retcon the potara fusion is good. Vegito was absolutely amazing. It's right after he defuses that the arc shits the bed. There is no denying however, that the Black arc was not, on a whole, good and better than the previous parts of the series.
