I sweat like crazy when I do cardio. Pic is my elbow after 8 mins of light bicycling. Any tips on how to reduce this? Does it improve as I get in better shape?
why is this a bad thing?

Bring a towel and shower afterwards, like everybody else, what the fuck anon?
Alternatively, stop training and browse /fit/ all day erryday

I think some people just sweat alot. I would run the same 6 mile route every night in high school and even though I got way better at running I would still get pretty much as sweaty as the first time I did it. Although It doesn't help that I live on the beach so it's pretty much always hot and humid.

I've just started doing cardio at the end of my session and I sweat heaps too. At the end of a 20 minute bike session i literally have sweat running down my face and my singlet feels like its been dunked in a bucket and put back on me. I think we just have to keep at it until our bodies realise we aren't dying

I've resorted to wearing yoga pants and am thinking of looking for the equivalent for arms. Otherwise I leave a trail of sweat.

I want a solution for during the workout, not after

I'm in a tropical country so that probably doesn't help either
I'm in decent shape as far as cardio goes and I sweat like a rapist when I even as much as think of sprinting. It could be a exercise-associated thermogenesis thing. Some people just fire right up.
And sweating is good, it's very good.

Maybe do cardio somewhere else than in the gym? Go running outside, go biking, swimming, whatever.
>>41020340
Just wear your towel around your neck and keep wiping yourself down and wipe the seat down afterwards if you have to.
>>41020340
Then wipe yourself while you do your cardio? Or bring a big industrial fan and set it up in front of you.
You're gonna sweat no matter what.

How much salt you eating? Excess sweating is a sign of to much sodium
>>41020384
>>41020389
Alright I'll do this.
>>41020379
I don't like being outside.
>>41020352
That's interesting. What does sweating achieve workout wise?
>>41020395
A normal amount, I think. I'll pay more attention

Its either salt, hyperhydrosis, or youre fat. And sweating is just a cooling mechanism for the body so you dont cook your organs from the increase in metabolic heat energy released from exercise.

You'll sweat less once you are not fat anymore.
I don't sweat much even after 10min of running at a good pace;
3 years ago, I used to sweat like a pig after 30s of cardio.
