If you're someone like me, an 8 who dresses bad and wears glasses and slouches a lot, lifting will easily do wonders for you for multiple reasons. Posture can't be as shit, even poor clothes will fit better etc.
If you're an 8+ face that dresses properly and has good posture, lifting is absolutely not required to get girls.
At any point below that, lifting is better for your chances with girls, and being confident is the best thing you can do for your social life, not just girls. but your career etc.
