Just done my first meet ever after ~8months of lifting.
Neato experience desu, even though I was by no means competitive and only outlifted two guys in my weight class.
165/100/180 [spoiler]sub-junior[/spoiler]

Had a great time, broke prs on all the lifts. 10/10, would nearly finish last again.

I didn't squat and deadlift the first month, however the second month I just worked back up slowly from 100kg and in February I added 20kg to my deadlift through LP.

I also did and still do train spinal erectors a fair bit with exercises like SGDL and Back extensions. Whenever my back feels funny I throw on some straps, do a few SGDLs and I'm back to normal.

I didn't actually squat or deadlift during the initial portion of my rehab. Then I did light work and sort of followed a plan I read on the RTS website. It wasn't until my back was feeling fine that I started squatting and deadlifting again. Though my injury had me out for ~8 months so it might have been a more severe case.

It's fairly good if you make rapid gains. I made consistent progress for a while, but it got to a point where 3x5 wasn't enough to increase my squat by 5lbs a week so I was forced to eat more and do 5x5 at 90%.

Well, in all honesty I have been a TERRIBLE participant and squat/bench training has been really shitty. also not eating enough, not trying hard enough.

regardless of that, I think I will hit somewhere around 180, 115 and 230 weighing a smidge under 90kg.

all I REALLY want is the deadlift though, I hit an ez 210 @8 beltless deficit last saturday, so I feel that means 230 or so is in the bag.

if I can't budge at least 5pl8 off the ground I will probably just kms.

I'm also gonna run through a modified PM approach again this spring/summer once I can get some irl shit in order to allow for more quality training and living situations.
