Started lifting about two months ago, and recently my hands started hurting a lot during deadlifts. The pads on my fingers' first joints feels like it's being crushed.
You know when you pound a chicken breast flat, and the fibers in it slowly shear apart as it flattens out, and it sometimes makes this weird sound as it happens, too? That's what it feels like. There's no bruising, though, or permanent pain.
