His shoulders are wide. He just stores fat on his sides. Shoulder width should be 3x head width on a man. You can't really reasonably ask for more

Human's don't grow in a 1:1 ratio scaled up. Not unless you have Gigantism, and even then shit distorts in other weird ways.

As we get taller, yes our bones grow thicker and our rib cage gets bigger, and our collar bones lengthen too. BUT not in a 1:1 ratio with the increase in height.

Those things grow at roughly 75%ish the rate you get taller, past about 6ft.

So the Relative shoulder width to height won't be as good on a super tall guy, BUT the Absolute width will be far more.
