Don't ever try deadlifting wearing Adidas Boost shoes. My left leg wobbled as I was raising a bar and I felt like my bones were about to snap. (just like in that deadlift-wearing-heels gif).

I've been using powerlift 3's for the last four months or so. They're pretty nice for being so inexpensive. I'm certainly not to the level of needing better shoes than them yet.

What are you looking to spend?

What kind of lifting do you need shoes for?

Those inov8's are good. Check in the UK Reeboks versions are on sale right now.

The higher end then are Romaleos or Adipowers. Personally I go with Adipower as I prefer the slightly more narrow fit and leather outter.

If you are doing mostly upper body and plyo training get a flat shoe, converse, invo8 235, something like that.

For squats or oly lifts use oly shoes for sure if you can afford it. If not, nothing wrong with squatting in your flats or bare foot. Though, I saw more progression with my oly shoes. Ankle mobility can be a major thing!
