I noticed it while traveling (France, Switzerland, UK, India and USA, if I remember correctly), not at home. Some where sweeter than other, and investigating a little i found out that the source was the same. So they do add sugar (and they add it in a lot of thing, btw).

Homogenized does nothing for health it's just the process by which they separate the cream from the milk. Raw milk is very good if it's super fresh (less than one week old) otherwise I pass.
