It depends on how much you drink in the first place.

While soda is obviously not healthy for you, the people who demonize it are those who consumed way too fucking much of it in the first place before they finally curbed or kicked their habits.

I'll drink soda very occasionally because I still think it tastes good, but I also have the common sense to moderate myself.

Eliminating the enormous amount of sugar and replacing it with water or tea is a vast improvement. Water is critical to metabolize food properly and break down fat. Tea is pact with antioxidants and, depending on the tea, much lower in sugar.
