Well, /fit/? Is this guy legit? Is long-term fasting + keto the best solution for cutting? What do I need to know about long-term fasting and how can I begin my 28 day water fast?
If you hate muscles then go for it

yes. plenty of people do water fasts. the fat just drops off.
yes, you'll gain some back when you start eating, but the amount you keep off makes it much better than a normal calorie deficit.

no

So I won't be able to keep my gains? What if I just want to stop being obese? Can I just jump right into a 28 day fast?
also, don't try to go straight into a 28 day fast.
start with intermittent fasting if you aren't doing that already, then try 24 hours, then 7 days.

He probably did do a 28 day water fast, but I'd be wary of going much beyond a couple of weeks. 10 days has been done safely. I do a few days (around a week) with a multivitamin and some bits of fruit/fibre here and there to kick start keto.

No you dumbass, it's the best solution for being so fat that you're about to drop dead if you don't lose the weight now. Your body fat can keep you alive but it sure as fuck can't fuel any kind of intense training while you're not eating anything.
