>prefer the peanut butter flavor, actually tastes pretty good
>20 g protein 2g of carb
>like 75 cents a bar
Good snacks that sort of satisfy a sweet craving for me
I used to eat clif builder bars until I noticed 20g of sugar in a bar
>>
>>40934577
This, not as filling as builders, but the only thing separating builders and just a normal candy bar is 16g of protein

I'd get quest bars, but they are fucking 3$ each.
>>
Protein bars are shit - eat real food.
>>
>>40934599
yeah they arent very filling for sure, can eat many in a sitting
Idk what the hype is with quest bars they seem overpriced
>>
>>40934604

Fucking idiot literally kill yourself it's not like he is going to stop eating REAL FOOD because of 1 protein bar every blue moon.

If you are on a diet and CRAVING for a snack a 'healthy' protein bar beats up a mars bar 100-0

Cliff bars
>>
Make your own protein bars. Its probably the best option
>>
>>40934668
Not even him but that's a lot of ad hominem for some actual good advice. A diet that makes you this short tempered can't be good.
>>
>>40934641
Taste pretty good and are almost entirely fiber and protein
>>
>>40934699

What diet? I don't even eat protein bars myself but I can understand the point of them.
>>
I really like Quest bars-- Low in carbs and high enough in protein, but mostly it's an easy way to eat in the small breaks I get during/between classes.

I don't know why I still take classes that are 3-4 hours long. You think I would have learned.

20g protein
15-17g fiber depending on the bar
1-4g of sugar
comparatively lower in sodium and fat
whey isolate is main protein source
taste is phenomenal
half the price of a quest bar
>>
>>40934699
>ad hominem
You don't understand what that means.

Have fun with your diabeetus
>>
MetRX peanut butter pretzel is unbeatable
>>
>>40934379
I would imagine a homemade bar of some sort would be best for all three.
>made to taste
>custom tailored to fit your macros
>can be made in bulk as a part of meal prepping

Quest.

>nutrition

Probably Quest. Generally you don't want a whole lot of sugar. The ideal bar seems to be 200 calories, 20 grams of protein. If they have more calories than that, they typically have a bunch of sugar. On the downside, that means you're eating artificial sweeteners - except for the Quest bars, which is why....

>cost

... pretty much any bar BUT Quest. The closest ones I've found, that are cheap, come from Costco of all places. But they only have the chocolate chip and brownie flavors.

210 calories, my bad I just get used to assuming all clean protein bars have around 200 calories
