How important is it to have a power cage if training at home?

very, theyre cheap too. I bought an incline/decline/flat bench, a squat rack w/pull up bars, and 300lbs of weights for like $1000.
It's pretty much the only thing that allows you have an effective home gym without breaking the bank or requiring way more space
I don't have one, I'd like one though so I can have safeties when I squat. I might get some sawhorses or something.

I have a half rack like pic
its okay if you have limited space/money
I would prefer a full rack tho

If you're really lacking in space, you can get these and keep them in a closet until you need to workout. Be careful about slamming the bar, though.

Let's you squat and bench without a spotter or fear of failure. Get a new PPR200 on Amazon for 330 or find something cheaper on Craigslist
