When I grew up in Ukraine every single public bathroom you use is a squat type of toilet. You literally have to squat over an empty hole and shit in it.

Honestly? It helps you shit way faster. It does feel easier and better to poop. Idk if it's better for your health or not.

I fucking love those things. I built one from scrap lumber because I'm a handy motherfucker. Some of the best shits I've ever had. You can tell you evacuate more completely because the ends of your shits are blunt instead of being pointed or tapered from your sphincter contracting.
