dunno, I like to do multiple exercises in a superset, just to be sure to hit all of the ab muscles. I also don't like the idea of only doing static planks.
just pick something you like and be sure to have some variety, don't do only stuff that mainly targets lower abs for example.
vacuums are a definite recommendation though, you can do them any time, like while you're taking a shower or lurking the chans or standing on the bus or whatever.
but I'm basically just spouting bro science here, dunno if any of it is actually good advice.

Cable cruches and throwdowns are all you need. You need a gym buddy for throwdowns though. And make sure they throw you to the side too not just straight down
