So i was doing bicep curls earlier and I felt a dull yet persistent pain in the highlighted area. I wasn't using an underhanded grip (Palms outward in the starting position) and i switched to a form where my palms faced inward in he starting position. The pain immediately stopped. Was my form wrong? I feel like the second form wouldn't work out my forearms.

I know

bumping cos i get mad pain when doing preacher curls.
is it forearm tendonitis?
Sounds like tendentious.

How can someone possibly have arms this small?
Oops, I meant to say was using underhand form in original post

stop twisting your forearm under load, do supinated grip with a straight wrist.
yeah i used to get that a lot and sometimes i still do, its a tendon in your forearm i think
dumbbell curls dont seem to bother it, i hate curls anyway so i just take the route with the least amount of discomfort

I'm pretty sure it's because you are gripping too hard
Stretch dumb dumb

It sounds to me like you aren't using an EZ Curl bar (the curvy ones).
If you use a straight bar for any type of curl, it hurts your forearms more, which isn't necessarily good. (This is why the curvy thing exists)
>tl;dr use the bar that's curved, not the straight one
If you are using the EZ CB, then something you're doing is probably way off or you have too much weight on the bar. Tendonitis'd hurt like a bitch all day long so it's no that.

Thanks, I have a curled bar I just use dumbells instead. I'll try this out next time and if it doesn't work I'll look into what the other anons said.
i got this too as a beginner, its basically because you're a weak son of a bitch and just started lifting and your forearms aren't used to it. Lower the weight on your exercises and slowly crank it up, eating plenty of protein
btw thanks mr. skellington

Btw for general info such as this there are a few Youtube channels to look into. For example
Scooby1961
Athlean-X (where I got the info I just gave you)
MassiveJoes (supplement advice)

I get this too, whenever I use too much weight on a curl it flares up and wont die down for maybe a day.
Solution was simple, use less weight. I compensated by starting with a lower weight then doing drop sets, it still murders my biceps, although it does take longer.
Dont skip forearm work, but dont overdo it either, its just massively underdeveloped muscles and tendons unable to hold the high strain you put it under.
