My calves are pure muscle. I'm doing the couch to 5k to get my run back (post Army here), and the only problem are the shin splints. Can't run more than 2 minutes without getting them. I've tried a lot of stretching before and after, hip/core exercises (bands, raises, resistence machines), even new shoes. It could be the weight, might have to do something else like swimming or an elliptical till the weight goes down a bit.

That's what I currently do (but shoulders too on leg day). Also, try going Chest (heavy), Back(light), then legs/shoulders and then Chest (light), back (heavy), and rest/legs. Reason why i don't do shoulders twice is because they are taking over my chest a bit (ref: >>40873188 )

i get it, i'm a fucking twig.
i've only been lifting for a couple months, and only seriously for like two weeks.

i eat really well, and i stopped drinking/drugs. i know it's hard to take me seriously looking at my weakass body, but I really want to improve.

what should I focus on in order to get past my pathetic current state so im not embarassed looking in the mirror?

my current mindset is do some biceps, triceps, core, back every day, and then finish with ~30 mins cardio for legs, calorie burning, etc.

not gonna lie i would be pretty scared to squat/deadlift in front of lot of people, also I think with my current pencilmode it wouldn't do anything. i think i can bench like 110 rn, haven't benched for like a week..

also are supplements an absolute must? can I just eat well instead?

No proper mirror so can't post whole body. Kept a long break from lifting and got back to it. Here to whore off for tips on good lowerbody routines, I like how my upperbody looks and don't want to gain more size to it.

But, I lack in the ass department ( I like the thick big booty look and need it to balance out my upper body)
