can't do crow pose.
Friends were talking about Yoga , but I couldn't and failed miserably.
can /fit/ crow pose?? why is it so hard

We're missing the point
Why is your squat so bad compared to other lifts?
Also lose weight

I try to keep form and I feel like I don't have good form for 3x5 after 2 pl8 and I'm afraid of injury so I never bothered going higher.
But I'm watching the form vids and its actually not that hard. I just jumped into it and made a fool but it's actually a lot easier now that I know the technique... just like lifting I suppose
crow pose uses shoulders
>>40844731
crow pose is resting your knees on your elbows. obviously you have the strength to do it because it literally requires 0 strength, just some balance
>Be me
>Struggle to DL 305
>Can hold crow for over a minute
6 foot 1 208. Just practice, it's definetly a balance thing. Used to do a lot of yoga in my Judo days.
OP here.
just as i thought, yoga was a meme.
this is so easy
Its more that you lack core, don't understand hand balancing, and are not retracting your scapulla.
Flex your fingers really hard like the floor is sand and your trying to dig into it when you do this.
Same concept as squeezing a barbell for stabilization.
Also your shoulders should be above your hands not in line or behind them. If your missing these elements you're working against yourself.

Has more to do with movement than just your simple lifts. Hence, why people who do variations to the standard lifts gave better overall strength and less ego like you, OP.

Do you just "feel" like form is bad or did you actually video yourself?
>>40844731
Yeah, it is easy, but I was able to do 1 hand stand push up without leaning on the wall 6 months ago.
>200x5 squat
>145x5 bench
>107x5 OHP
>242x3 diddly

not being AT LEAST on level 5 of ashtanga series
>>40844731
Just practice for a week or two, just like literally everybody who can do the crow pose had to. Jeez man, don't freak out.
Just tried it and couldn't hold it for more than a second or two without falling forwards. I'm guessing because my upper body weighs more than my lower body so the weight distribution is fucked up. Also, it really fucking hurt my wrists.
>>40844731
>thinking yoga is about strength
you're confusing it with gymnastics
>>40846633
It's because it takes a little practice. Nobody just does it on the first try ever. For gods sake is this what the world is like for mellinials?
>>40847286
i literally did it on the first try, probably because i can do handstands
>>40844731
I used to walk around in fucking crpw pose. Shot is god tier.
>>40847320
I did it p much on the first try. Doing it like this helped sort out form straight out.
