Started SS a while ago (August 2016) and then started to get put off in December due to the way my body distributed fat (not to say that I stopped lifting... I still lift, but I add in things like more shoulder oriented exercises and pulls/chins).
I've got wide hips (not as bad a problem as you'd think) and it became really obvious when I started to put on weight. However I only really gained weight on my lower body which gave me a thicc ass but a really girly silhouette from behind.
Can anybody here relate? Anybody who started out lifting dealing with this got any tips on what to focus on more?

Yeah I've been doing lateral and front raises to build up my shoulders... but my problem is that my upper body mass isn't too great, so building my delts feels like it's taking ages
Got wide hips and wide shoulders, not the best, but it could be worse. Direct delt work helps a lot

I have wide lower pelvis. It looks bad in the mirror especially because i have female fat distribution. Hopefully itll be better when i cut all the fat off. I also have a thicc ass
You don't have wide hips, you just have a narrow everything else.
Stop being skinny. Come back when you weigh 180lbs or more and say you still have wide hips.
