Some people have bad sides to modafinil regardless. So like ulcers and shit. Don't take it if you start getting them. A common side is smelly urine and more urination. It's a far stronger diuretic than caffeine. So drink lots of water.

The half life is also massive, so take them well before you want to go to bed but also dose conservatively. You can sleep on them, but you probably won't need to go to bed for 18 hours+ after taking a whole tablet. It can make falling asleep difficult because you won't feel tired in the same way.

Beyond that they're safe, probably safer than caffeine.

I wake up at 5 or 6 in the morning with a coffee and take a pill and 45 minutes I feel like it's mid day and like I have had two good weeks of sleep.
You will get an increased focus all throughout the day without a stimulant like "buzz". It is just pure energy.

Some cons would be that if you lose your focus towards the studies, you can find yourself faping for 3 hours looking for the perfect porn clip or start cataloging your computer folders and stuff like that.
You will also feel a little brunt out the next day.

I take modafinil tops 3 times a week, and never two days in a row. I also never take it for more than 2-3 weeks in a row without atleast the same ammount of time as recovery.

I should say they categorically are safer than caffeine, you won't die from accidentally taking way too much and I misspoke there. They also taste like absolute shit and I find that makes swallowing them hard.

As said before, It gives you laser focus for 16 hours, however you need to be very careful to be in an environment with little distraction, or else you end up 6 hours into watching documentaries on youtube about how pen lids are made.

It ain't like adderall or ritalin. A couple of people here saying it gives you laser focus but you can get distracted easily are probs either lying or had bunk. It can feel a bit like that the first few times you take it (you get extra brain bloodflow amd for some that has a weird intense feeling but that goes away after a bit). It really just feels like you had a long as fuck sleep and woke up refreshed.

I have a really strong tolerance to stims and caffeine and thought that even 17.5 mg yhcl was stronger (in terms of effect and energy).

I've been taking Modafinil daily for about 3 years now. I take about 400mg every morning before work. I like that the drug has a very subtle effect. I'm not cracked out like on amphetamines and I can still maintain a high level of energy throughout the day.

I did buy mine through Modafinil cat but I think they shutdown recently. Just hit up the Modafinil subreddit most of those sites are pretty reputable desu.
