All sources are backed by science and are arguably the best sources on the web I could find that don't provide bullshit.
These are not you're typical Buzzfeed/Cosmopoltian media sites, these are backed by scientists and/or health care professionals. If not, it is either a trusted site or provides insight on previously proven facts. Please provide any insight you may have on coffee, including sources. Thank you.

The myth that a drink made primarily of water dehydrates you is pretty interesting
>>40842366
Can someone answer this for me? I've always thought felt that coffee makes me pee more, ofc if you drink more to compensate you won't be dehydrated but this perception is why I don't drink coffee when I'm going to run long distance. Am I just retarded?
>>40842411
Caffeine is a diuretic, so it increases the urge to urinate. Likely why the rumor got started.
Drinking before running seems pretty unlikely to really change anything that much, but no reason to change if it's working for you.
>>40841187
Coffee makes me feel nauseous for a few hours.
ill stick with tea

Not a myth, sea water is overwhelming water, beer is overwhelming water. Human bodies are 60% water.
If a drink isnt a higher percentage it will dehydrate, or if its a diuretic, which coffee certainly is.

DELET THIS
>>40842411
When I drink coffee I urinate far more frequently, but I also urinate less every time I go. I feel like I probably end up losing about the same amount of urine overall, I just have to do it in many, short bursts. I've never actually measured it or anything, so I'm not sure if it's accurate, but it's something to think about.
