I don't know much about working out so here is what I do.
Using machines at gymn
do reps until I can't finish a rep
rest
do another set until I can't finish
Lower the weight 1 or 2 increments
and repeat.
I do about 4 or 5 sets total but at the end I can barely do a much lower weight. Then I change machines.
What are your thoughts on this?
Also how do you workout when your sore?
I will exercise when sore but I don't go as hard. Should you go normal while sore or rest until not sore?

I do dumbbells since I know I have a dominant right side, so I do each side, and then the left side to compensate.
When doing dumbbells I do the same thing, start on higher and work lower.

Your routine is probably fine. As long as you are doing work you will get results.

Rest until not sore, unless it's your first few weeks of lifting, then just power through the soreness.
