Taking Ritalin for studying

Ritalin in the gym is the most retarded thing I've ever heard. I've used black market ritalin plenty of times in high school to study. Swallowing is good if you want extended release and a consistent, good level of focus. If you are studying your study session late at night and need to sleep best choice is unsufflation of about 1/3 or 1/2 the usual dose. Kicks in pretty much instantly, and very hard, but wears off faster. Good if you want a quick burst of study roids before bed.

Pros:

> Shit sleep and loss of appetite (depends on frequency)
> Can get locked on to something you dont wish to be. E.g. you might be listening to music at the time and get "locked in to" focus on that rather than studying. Can be difficult to get out of

> Tolerance builds up VERY quickly
> Fairly addicting. I've seen it first hand. I controlled myself but I can't say I didn't enjoy it.

I would never ever use it for an exam. Why? Because exams are dead silent with nothing interesting for you to do apart from your test. So its easy to focus, therefore ritalin does jack shit. If you're studying and have other distractions then ritalin can be very useful.

Goes very well when stacked with nootropics. I stacked ritalin and nootropics for a month when I had end of year exams and saw tremendous results. I went through a years supply of nootropics in that time and a LOT of ritalin but I got the job done. Would recommend supplementing with Choline if going this route. Weed if you have trouble sleeping and eating (balanced things out well for me)

Generally I found taking it every other day was perfect for me as I would get zero side effects. If I used it consecutively I would start to lose my appetite.

However I haven't used it in a couple of years since I started university. Partly because I don't want to poison myself with autist medication anymore and also because I actually learned how to study properly and don't need drugs to do it. Better off just doing shit right in the first place. All I use now is a bit of noopept.

I got prescribed this and at first it helped me with studying but then i would just snort them and play counter-strike and jack off furiously in between competitive games. Use with caution, OP

It also makes you more "on", being able to bring up statistics, quotes and whatnot in real - time when you're in a discussion. It's honestly a superdrug and you DO notice that (at least half-smart)people with ADHD has a super good memory and is able talk circles around you just because of that drug.

Depends. I was comfy with it because I had been a regular wee smoker and took mdma moderately often at events so I was no virgin to getting intoxicated which included uppers. I just had to know how to use it effectively. So I'd say its only scary depending on your experience level. It's just another stimulant.

I took this shit for a while. It's pretty crazy how it works. I don't know if it works for ADHD but it gives you a weirdass high where you feel like you're being sucked in by things instead of wandering around existence aimlessly.

I got some shivers and irritability, so I tried not to use it frequently. I never finished a box before it expired.

Roommate has ADD so he gets free ritalin. I used it about 3 times and felt like I could study for hours and hours. Only con about it for me is that I can't remember the stuff I studied while on it very well. Still works wonders for writing essays and shit like that though.

Also people around me noticed I was on it. I was twitchy and my face muscles were very tense, and my pupils dilated. Kinda liked the feeling it gave me. Lots of focus and energy.

Rittalin is the worst ADD drug IMO

get better study habits rather than trying to binge study on stimulants before exams

you WILL get addicted to the high, especially if you're depressed/dissatisfied with life, and end up jerking off/playing video games/whatever for 12 hours

as for gym, yeah you'll get a huge performance boost and your work capacity will be a lot more than normal. its akin to doing coke before workouts though (very similar mechanism of release, meth is more similar to adderall/dexedrine)

and if you truly have adhd, i'd be even more careful. its very easy to fuck yourself up on hardcore stimulants.
