Hey guys. I have a problem that's not directly related to DBZ games/anime, but I don't think /a/ or /adv/ know enough about DBZ and lifting to help me out.
I know that this is going to sound incredibly autistic, but I cannot function in social settings unless I imagine myself as a Dragon Ball character. No, I don't go around saying "I'm Goku, a Saiyan raised on earth!" or try to fly or anything. I just feel myself with the overall demeanor of a DBZ character. I can pass off as a normie well with this.
I choose DBZ characters that already compliment my personality. My main 3 are Piccolo (When I'm feeling quiet but confident), Vegeta (When I'm feeling a bit smug/cocky) and Broly (When I'm feeling a bit edgy). I also have a rotating list of DBZ characters that I can use. I've done Bulma, Trunks, Gohan, Great Ape Bardock, Cell, Mr Satan, etc...
But my problem is, I have a party with my co-workers tonight, and I'm not sure which DBZ character I should be. I want to be a bit more outgoing and talkative than usual, but not TOO much. I had a bad experience with Yamcha this spring, when I got a bit TOO confident, so I don't want to use him. I'd like to try a Dragon Ball GT character, but I'm not sure which once. I like Super 17, but I feel like he would make me come across as an autist. I was actually thinking about Gogeta, but not being canon hurts him a bit.
Do you guys have any ideas for a DBZ character that would be sociable and confident, but not too much so? I also pretend to have their level of muscular development for dem ego gains

Cut. Start off with 3 week keto with 0 carbs to lose the initial 10ish lbs, then re-introduce carbs at 20-30g a day. Keep lifting as heavy as you can while introducing about 30min of cardio a day. Eat eggs in the morning, white meat (chicken, white fish, turkey) and carbs mid day and red meat (Beef, lamb, red fish) and greens in the evening, and supplement with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and a shake between meals.

Sure m8. I get tired of the shitposting and banter, and it seemed that you actually wanted/needed input if you had really been training for 2 years.

If you find you plateau in your cut, count calories and make sure you're creating a deficit. I also find that fasting one day and having a cheat day every two weeks shocks my metabolism enough to keep a cut going.

Remember, once you commit to bulking, you have to commit to eating. And when I say commit to eating, I mean it. You'll get tired of eating. But you HAVE to work out harder than ever. It won't be too much of an issue because you'll feel stronger than ever, but seeing yourself get soft in the mirror can really fuck with one's psychology during a bulk. Just keep your eye on the prize and keep track of your progress and have a tangible goal with real measurements of success. Not some amorphous "I wanna look good with my shirt off" BS. Set a strength goal for your major compound lifts, surpass the goal, then cut again.

Lifting for 7 months now, started from textbook skinny fat, had a little leg muscle to begin with but thats it.

Not ganna disagree - I've been cutting for four months. I'm flat as hell now...it fucking sucks. Once I jump back to maintenance (I'm about 500-700 under) i'll blow back up (Jan 2016 was 3 weeks after I finished a 10 month Cut, which is why I looked great). So long as I'm not losing strength (and muscle), im going to keep cutting slowly. Then I'll lean bulk for another year.
I have to deal with looking depleted now, but once I carb back up, It'll be worth it. I was able to hold my abs through 14 months of lean bulking last time, hoping to repeat it once again after this cut. Natties have to make compromises, we can't look lean+Full all year. Something has to give.

PHUL has you progressions, just weekly. I would add 5lbs every week (which is still a huge rate) to the strength portion. Don't fool yourself - It's a pretty intense program, you must eat and sleep properly.
5/3/1 just isn't an intermediate program. Until you're loading up 3+++ plates 3 times a week (and 1.5 on OHP days), you don't need 5/3/1 programming. 5/3/1 is meant to treat your body carefully because you're loading up huge weights all the time. At lighter (see: intermediate) weights, your body can take much more. Feed it the volume it desires.
