You should probably ask a doctor or a specialist or something not some homosexual wankers on an anime forum
>>
>>40819891
I was just thinking maybe some of your guys had similar experience
>>
>>40819874
Yes
>>
>>40819874
Maybe
>>
>>40819895
>I'd trust the anonymous opinion of some homosexual wankers on a taiwanese forum for badly drawn cartoons over the opinion of my fucking doctor
It's like you're begging to get paralyzed

Yes but you're gonna need a really good trainer or do alot of self-research.
>>
>>40819874
You can but literally one fuck up in your form will lead to greater injury so just let it heal
>>
Just grow a spine and lift baby
>>
>>40819874
of course not
>>
>>40819874
walk it off, pussy
>>
>>40819874
no

same here, it's impossible and this shit is unfixable
>>
I always wondered, how does herniation feel like? Radiating pain, evenly distributed at your lower back and not on specific side only? Enlighten me anons.
>>
I don't know

for me, the pain gets intense when i lay down for a while (especially after waking up in the morning), but gets better when i do sports.
It depends on at which disc you have herniation, but in my case i feel a numb pain in my left buttock, and sort of a "stretching" pain in my left hamstring and calf.
Also, I cant raise the toes of my left foot, and my left leg is in general weaker than the right
>>
>>40819943
You mean i wont be ever able to deadlift/squat again?
>>
>>40819972
Hnngh, I think I had that for a long period but didnt see a doctor. It hasnt come back for some reason, thank god. Did I have herniation :S
>>
>>40820008
You should see a doctor, anon, dont make the same mistake as i did.
Your disc will continue to leak out more and more if you dont get any treatment.
>>
How did you guys do a hernia?

If you've got a structural instability in your spine do you think it would be wise to load more weight onto it?

Look up spondylolisthesis because that's what you're gonna have if you fuck around with a compromised spine.
>>
I had some sharp pain around my right shoulder/upper back that was very pronounced for 2 days (was in a lot of pain lying down to sleep). Now it feels a little sore when I crane my head down. I resumed squats without any problems (in fact, my back felt a lot better right after). Could this be a herniation? I have a feeling that the pain originated from slouching too much with the bar on my shoulders.
>>
>>40819874
Nope. Well you could get your vertebrae fused but say goodbye to flexiblity.
>>
>>40819978
Yes. It's a condition you are born with. I've heard from a doctor that i should stop lifting weights immidietaly and find something "better" like "riding a bike". Im still lifting but i don't squat or deadlift. Im doing leg press only for legs. Even leg extentions with bit more weight give me lumbar pain.
>>
Pull ups
>>
I believe I have q mild hydration, stopped lifting completely. Only is uncomfortable when sitting in a chair (go figure ) so I have a standing desk at work. Fml I just want to sit in a chair without weird spine feels. Doing PT. Look into ab exercise

*Herneation

>>40819874
Don't listen to these guys, and be your doc may or may not be right, you gotta listen to your body, push it and back off when it hurts. I have 2 herniated disks and 1 torn disk, not from lifting it's from my job, my doc said I needed surgery I said nah I'm good, I hadn't been lifting in a while and I forced myself back into the gym, lifted through the pain and I'm pulling 600 and squatting 405 now, nothing super impressive but coming from potential back surgery to decent numbers isn't bad, I took it really slow at first but I feel better now than I have in a long time.
>>
>>40821437
Also get a foam roller and roll that shit out twice a day, especially if you are gonna push it and lift, it hurts too if you back is anything like mine but it will help a lot in the long run
>>
>>40819874

How'd you do it, OP?
>>
>>40819874
L5-S1?
>>
>>40819897
but it would be extremely painful
>>
>>40821003
They won't fuse vertebrae he would likely have a discectomy. And a good surgeon will do a micro-discectomy, with small healing time Like 2 months?!
