I'm just 5 foot 9 inch and 190 lbs. I stumbled upon this photo while googling Hancock, Michigan.

Basically what I'm trying to ask is if this sort of situation would be possible to avoid without surgery after a massive weight loss. I mean, the skin doesn't return to normal once it has been stretched too far, right?

I'm 5'8 and I've ballooned up to 280, down to 170 lean as fuck and got pretty /fit/ then got depressed and ballooned back up to 250, recovered again and am now 181. The first time I had practically none, this second time around I have some at the bottom of my chest inner thighs and the stomach flap, but even then it's very minimal and nothing like OPs pic.

But I also know people who have lost 50 lbs and have more than me. So I think it really depends on luck, staying hydrated(which I'm convinced is insignificant in changing how much you have), muscle mass, and genetics
