One approach is PPL with "pump work" added in.

As: Push - Pull (and some light push work to up the weekly volume) - Legs (+light pull work) x2, PPLPPLx (sunday off).

Another is PHAT.

But the golden rule is: whatever works for you. Fullbody 3x/wk goes better for me than PPL, tried PPL for a month and it made my muscular endurance better, but the strength gains were meager. Am probably going to try PPL again if low on time.

If you smack everything on a single day, as in full body, and you wanna take up more isolations and excercises, you're gonna have a bad time fitting all the work in.That's where splits come in - you stack excercises into manageable trainings. Yeah, you'll train almost every day, but at least your trainings don't last for hours upon hours. The PPL format itself limits the amount of work you can stack into a single session.

Also of course curls are good. If someone's denying something obvious, like that curls aren't worthwhile or important for other lifts where you lock out your elbows, they're probably just being ironic. Chill out. You can find earnest fitness discussion in the generals.
