well this is part of my routine, i do band walks as warmup for compounds, and some banded glute bridges pushing knees out.
swings for explosive movement before heavy compound to prime my nervous system up.

Well, not going to do glute kickbacks but im doing weighted lunges.

All this helped my deadlift and squat stability a lot but my ass doesnt change at noticeable pace. I have hank hill ass genetics

It's not about weight. It's about volume and form. Mind-muscle connection is essential. If you want an easy way to build glutes though, just learn to ice skate and spend a few hours a week on the ice doing sprints and power skating. Don't fall for the speed skating meme though.
