You mean enteric coated capsules? Sure, or one could enhance the viability of non coated by taking them on an empty stomach with a glass of water. As food, still highly suggested to take. Not everything is destroyed in your stomach (e.g. certain types of food poisoning). As it stands, research is showing positive associations with these food groups, and that should not be discounted until disproved otherwise.

If you just wanna take a supplement and be done, I recommend Align (j. infantis). You can find it at any pharmacy/marianos/whole foods. My shits were incredibly satisfying while I was taking it and it miraculously solves my GI problems.
