are you new to lifting?
bumping. Running greyskull now but ivysaur's looks interesting
Wellllll I guess OP left, so I'll just say this.
Your beginning routine really doesn't matter that much. As long as you are doing heavy compounds and progressing you will build a strength base for a more advanced program. DON'T try to build your own routine because you don't know what the gosh-dang-diddly you're doing, but most of the ones that float around this board are fine. I would suggest Ivysaur out of those two because it has more volume, and you really need to start your lifting career off by working on your form. Once your form is good though, move onto SS. It is no-meme the best beginning routine

>4 sets of deadlifts

People vastly underestimate the amount of deadlift volume you can handle. SS only drops the volume so low because it's already doing a hard 3x5 squat in every session and Rip considers the deadlift much less important than the squat for driving overall strength.

Neither of these have Isolated movements in them. Personally, I get the best gains from switching between compound and isolation exercises. Find out what works for you. Took me 1.5 years to get my own routine down but I never lost strength or size

I do 9 sets of deadlifts on Tuesdays and can handle it. nSuns truly is the best program.

I do 9 sets of deadlifts on my heavy days, not including warm up sets. It's not impossible.
what about this routine?
