I have pectus excavatum with some rib flare action, should I give up on aesthetics? What are your personal experiences?

If anything that's a reason to work harder on aesthetics, big muscles will make it less noticeable.

Do you know that from experience? I'm seeing good progress everywhere but my chest despite the fact that I train it harder than anything else
Something I noticed with Henry Cavill is they were able to really cover up his chest gap with the necklace thing he wears in the shirtless scenes. It really draws your attention away from it, it's pretty cool. That's probably what I'd recommend. The guy in your photo has a necklace but it doesn't go far down enough to draw attention away from the middle of his chest.
See how he has a chest gap but the necklace basically completely covers it up?

Yeah that's weirdly effective

I ended up getting surgery, couldn't stand the look of it. So much happier these days, but I do experience some mild discomfort periodically

How much did it cost?
Do you have any physical limitations?
\fit\ will solve all your problems.

Im in Australia. I got private health for a year and the gap was about 3k, I got the ravitch sternochondroplasty. Physical limitations, no. I get a tiny bit of pain from time to time but nothing related to lifting. Scaring has also become less noticeable over time with working out.

Damn. Maybe I should look into that.

Just a heads up, you wont be able to do any chest workout for about a year after surgery. Right after surgery you will regret it, its a really shit first year, but these days im really happy with it. Any other questions shoot em my way

I wonder how he felt about that lol
"Henry, you have a chest gap so.."
"ARE YOU CUTTING ME FROM THE FUCKING FILM I AM FUCKING SUPERMAN MOTHERFUCKER WHAT THE FUCK"
"Henry calm down you just have to wear this necklace to make up for your lack of aesthetics"
