You could surely use it as your lifting regimen, though if this is your first time lifting seriously you may have to drop the amount of sets/movements down a little to get used to the volume for the first few months.

More importantly though the weight loss will have to come through diet and/or cardio. Dialing in sustainable diet based on tdee and macros = way more important for progress than any specific routine.

This is hard to believe m8, just based on the one picture you provided. I probably underestimated your BF% because I forget that 15% is high to my standards, but is actually the point where most people have visible abs. But even then say you were 20%, that would mean if you cut to ~10% where I am that would put you at 144lbs, which is only 16lbs off of me. Granted 16lbs of lmm is a lot, but that's something doable in about 1-1.5 years of training.

Seeing as I cut down to ~125lb's on my very first suicide cut to single digit BF, I know that that was more or less the baseline starting point for the next 3 years of growth. I couldn't really drop any more weight, so anything above 125 had to be fat or muscle. Being 35lb's heavier than that now and only 1-2%BF higher than then, I can deduce that the majority of those 35lbs are true lmm gains.

tl;dr - Either you have a shit ton of water retention, hella dense bones, ridiculous legs, or are just an extreme outlier compared to the norm for someone with a 5'9 frame. Pic related, you can see my body at 145lb's but with significantly different compositions (muscle:fat) throughout my first year.

Yep IIFYM. My diet ends up being pretty low fat, around 10% of overall calories. This isn't done intentionally for the sake of hitting a certain ratio, it's just the byproduct of using recipes that yield high volume of food with lower calories. Shitting aside, incorporating isolated core work into your routine is good for one thing only - building core strength. It wont have an impact on how visible your abs are, this is 99% determined by bodyfat %. Seeing as strength has never been my goal (hence running a hypertrophy isolation routine, not a strength focused one), I don't train my abs. They just look the way they do thanks to maintaining a certain level of leanness.

I've never personally run these types of routines because they are fundamentally focused on enhancing functional strength, not hypertrophy. They are popular and absolutely work if that's your goal. But there's a reason bodybuilding (hypertrophy oriented) splits are structured around higher volume sets opposed to powerlifting routines that utilize lower reps and higher weights. They are different tools to achieve different results. Just gotta know where your priorities lie and choose your path.

Body Recomposition works, and from your other posts you seem to understand how to go about it now a little better, but that first year it just seems like you wanted abs so you cut and didnt get much else done. Also, you would more solid if you did deadlifts and squats
