Eat lots of vegetables too. I'm pretty sure push ups would be a better option than strictly curls because it works your chest, arms, and even abs. You'd get a better looking upper body instead of just big arms. Most people's high reps/low weight routines seem to be around 8-12 reps too, so getting larger dumbbells would probably be a good idea instead of doing that extreme amount with such little weight
