Turns out I got this. What the hell? Do I have to take pills for the rest of my life now? Will I get thyroid cancer?

Not even a girl. What the hell did I do to get this?

>Hashimoto's thyroiditis is thought to be due to a combination of genetic and environmental factors.[3]

On the bright side you get to take thyroid hormone legally. Pretty great for fat loss.

Yeah, great. It#s not like I may take it, I have to take it.

No one in my family except maybe my brother has it. Which is kind of weird since we are a mixture of mom and dad in everything.
Cmon bros, anybody got some juicy info on dat shite?

I have hypothyroidism too brah. I take dessicated thyroid. When I'm cutting I increase my dose and lose weight pretty quickly.

Not available in Deutschland, sadly.

medfag here
It isn't too bad, just stick to the therapy. Chances of getting cancer are very, very small. Don't stress too much about it, consult with your doctor and see if you can increase the dose when cutting to increase your metabolism.
>gf has hyperthyroidism and takes pills
>No weight loss yet
What gives?

i was just now thinkin about it and saw this thread. interesting. i have the same shit. depression at its worst. doc doesnt give pills because he says he cant as long as it doesnt turn into hypothyroidism. we dono what causes it. but the body produces anticores that kills you inside, just like taking antibiotics. it kills the target but also damages eveyrwhere else too. and target is our guatr. idk wat to do. will do another blood test soon to see whats my guatr doin lately.

yea thats different than hashi. hashi may cause hypo but hypo doesnt necessarily have to be caused by hashi.
>Tfw my mom and grandma have this
Should I get tested? My mom wasn't diagnosed until she was in her 30s, and I'm only 20
