Pretty pissed off right now /fit/. So a question for you all--have you ever lifted while being substantially enraged and how did it affect your performance?

I break PR a lot more easily if I'm pissed.

See, I've found that I have more energy and tend to finish my workout quicker than usual

Last time I tried to lift angry I pulled a muscle in my neck and couldnt move it for 3 days.

Once when I was utterly enraged I went for a 5km run. In January. In Canada. In just a sweater.
Felt fine. Didn't make me less angry. Don't recommend it though.
I use it. Before every set, I think about something that makes me angry. It motivates me.

Running is a lot more interesting when pissed or stressed.
I have no chill for lifting sets so it doesn't make a difference.
Every time I lift I get pissed
I've been harnessing my rage lately for some good gains. I'm not really mad at anything in particular though I just somehow get in the mindset and lift harder

If ever I lift angry, I usually calm down 20-30 mins in. I just start to concentrate more on the lifts and movements themselves. By the end I wonder why I was so angry to begin with. Usually.
