There is no reason to do any other form of cardio. The rowing machine is far superior to any cardio you do.

Well, he's not wrong, though neither are you I guess.
The rowing is fucking awesome though. I thought my legs were fairly strong before I used the rower and it just destroyed my quads.

I've been doing the rowing machine for the past week and I think I'm hooked. I like that I'm getting some upper body work in, and it's much easier to do intervals on it compared to a treadmill. For someone who hates running like I do, it's a great alternative.
