random pointless only vaguely related thing I do, but with chicken thighs, I simmer them in chicken broth. That's it, that's all you need for delicious thighs. Doesn't work on the breasts sadly though.

Everyone has a spice section. There are usually "general spices" that are all purpose.
I've tried a ton of different things on my chicken, and nothing is better than this.

I use "Mrs. Dash Salt Free", and combine it with a low sodium pasta sauce from my grocery store's brand.... "Herb and Garlic", I think it is....
Mayo and ketchup is also good times.

Lemon juice, parsley, onion salt, and black pepper is the GOAT when it comes to chicken breast marinade.
