What happens if I maintain a caloric deficit but I eat shit food like cheeseburgers and pizza? Basically a dirty cut. Is that a thing?

Doing it right now, I count the chips I eat to maintain defecit for TDEE, the hunger is real but I've been going strong for about a month now.
Rough on the macros sometimes and it's a lot of proton powder.

You need to up your protein intake on a cut in order to maintain gains. Calories In/Calories Out work for losing mass, but there's more to it if you want to maximize fat loss/gains keep.

Hunger is not a problem, For the last 2 weeks i've been doing IF and only eating between 12pm and 8pm. I hate everything about the logistics of food so it's been fucking awesome, i love cutting. Some of the days I've just had one 1500cal meal of garbage food out of convenience.
